Metrology

Advanced Metrology Technology is widely deployed across SE operations including Vision & CMM (OGP,TESA), Digital Surface Profile & Form Analysis (Taylor Hobson), Micro Hardness , X-Ray Fluorescence (Fischerscope). Advanced Inspection systems with full Automation capability include Engagement/Separation Force Test , Eddy Current, and multi-camera Vision analysis. A comprehensive Calibration management system is maintained in accordance with ISO 10012:2003.

Quality Planning

Comprehensive Quality Planning is the key to successful outcomes. Manufacturing & Quality Engineering Teams develop Manufacturing Control Plans rationalized by Process FMEA analyses that are subsequently validated by Process First Article Inspections (AS 9102). Continuous improvement of Quality Planning is assured by a structured internal corrective and preventive action (CAPA) process.

Quality Control

Quality Control of the Manufacturing Process is initiated with individual Process First Article Inspections. Statistical Process Control utilizing predominantly digitally acquired measurement data is employed to control all production processes. Analysis of gage capability (GRR) is consistently utilized to assure metrology is suitable for each measurement application. First Article Inspections are completed in accordance with AS 9102 guidelines. All products produced at SE are subjected to Final Inspection following the completion of all manufacturing processes prior to delivery.
